Our team of automation technology specialists will plan and produce your customized system solution, for instance in the assembly automation for aggregate and carrier components, in the automatic assembly of cable looms in the foundry practice etc.
Silicon
Our core competence in photovoltaics and semiconductor poly-Si processing is the mechanic cutting, notch-and roundgrinding, surface- and chamfergrinding, squaring, rod- and profilgrinding / polishing of silicon ingots.
Arnold can offer innovative, stand alone machines, as well as machines developed according to your individual requirements and specifications, such as complete processing centres and custom-tailored complete systems with an automatic linkage of all production processes and an intelligent assembly control system.
Glass and quartz glass processing
Based on our traditional values and experience regarding the thermal and mechanical processing of glass and our ability to develop highly-engineered production lines and systems, we can offer you a wide range of burners, tools and standard machines manufactured for superior glass specialist firms as well as complex process solutions, i.e. for the solar thermal glass tube production, the high-precision resizing of quartz glass tubes, the completely automated production of laboratory and lamp-glass and other specific applications for thermal glass processing.

25 years with the Arnold Group – a milestone anniversary
On 1 April 2001, Manfred Zinn began his career with the Arnold Group – today, 25 years later, he looks back on an impressive journey marked by dedication, personal growth and a genuine sense of belonging.
He started out as a mechanical engineer in the assembly department. For many years, he was a key figure there, impressing everyone with his technical expertise, precision and consistently reliable approach to work. Anyone who worked with Mr Zinn knew they could count on him.
In September 2013, he moved to the machining department – and even there, he didn’t just ‘fit in’, but took on responsibility on a grand scale, in the truest sense of the word!
To this day, he operates the largest machine in the company. A task that requires not only technical know-how, but also a special degree of care, experience and an overview. Or to put it another way: when it comes to large dimensions, Manfred is exactly the right man for the job!
25 years with the company represent far more than just a long period of time. They stand for loyalty, consistency and the ability to overcome challenges and achieve success together. It is employees like Mr Zinn who, with their experience and daily dedication, leave a lasting mark on the Arnold Group!

A decade of dedication, expertise and passion – we’re celebrating Alexander Ludwig!
For 10 years, Alex has been a central pillar of our company. His success story at the Arnold Group began on 1 August 2003 with an apprenticeship as a precision engineer. After successfully passing his journeyman’s examination on 31 January 2007 before the Wetzlar District Guild of Craftsmen, he was taken on as a mechanical engineer.
His dedication first took him to the assembly department and, from 1 November 2009, to the service department.
There, he worked on assignments worldwide, demonstrating the utmost commitment and always stepping in at short notice for assignments that were often crucial.
rom August 2013 to 2015, he undertook further training as a technician at the State Technical Academy in Weilburg, further proof of his determination and his constant pursuit of professional excellence. Upon his return on 15 February 2016, he took over as head of our service department. Since then, he has shaped not only the quality of our services but also teamwork through his expertise, commitment and positive attitude.
We thank Alex from the bottom of our hearts for his loyalty and valuable experience, which enrich our team and our customers every day. He is a shining example of how passion, competence and team spirit come together to achieve great things!
