Arnold offers a wide range of machinery for the fibre optics industry
Arnold Group is an innovative company specialising in the development and implementation of bespoke solutions in the fields of quartz glass processing (primarily for fibre optics and semiconductor production), glass processing, silicon processing, and automation solutions for the aforementioned sectors.
Since 1950, we have been offering our customers not only high-quality products but also comprehensive services tailored to their individual needs – ranging from individual torches and tools to fully automated, robot-fed machines.
Our portfolio for speciality fibre customers includes preform preparation machines, MCVD and FCVD systems, horizontal and vertical overcladding systems, and speciality fibre drawing towers equipped with our own induction furnaces. We are also working on future developments such as customised OVD and rare-earth chelate systems.
For our telecommunications fibre customers, we offer cutting, grinding and welding machines for core rod production as well as for the preform manufacturing process. In addition to the well-known torch application, we offer future-oriented and energy-saving induction furnace and plasma torch solutions. In recent years, vertical and horizontal core rod drawing lines have been developed in collaboration with our customers.
